چکیده
Introduction NISTs Information Technology Laboratory has two ongoing research projects in computer forensics: the National Software Reference Library (NSRL) project and the Computer Forensics Tool Testing (CFTT) project. Funded through NISTs Office of Law Enforcement Standards (OLES) by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Defense Computer Forensics Laboratory (DCFL), the Department of Justices Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), and NIST, these projects are designed to provide research into the efficient and effective use of information technology applied to computer forensics.

Arabic News Articles Classification Using Vectorized-Cosine Based on Seed Documents
Besides for its own merits, text classification (TC) has become a cornerstone in many applications. Work presented here is part of and a pre-requisite for a project we have overtaken to create a corpus for the Arabic text process. It is an attempt to create modules automatically that would help speed up the process of classification for any text categorization task. It also serves as a tool for...
متن کاملPROMETEU - a tool to support documents generation and traceability in the test process
Software testing must be well documented and based on up to date and consistent information to avoid troubles such as incomplete or inappropriate tests. This involves the definition of what must be recorded, beyond tracing the diverse links among the many information elements that compose the documents. Documenting and tracing involve the manipulation of a very huge amount of data, demanding au...
متن کاملUse Fewer Instances of the Letter "i": Toward Writing Style Anonymization
This paper presents Anonymouth, a novel framework for anonymizing writing style. Without accounting for style, anonymous authors risk identification. This framework is necessary to provide a tool for testing the consistency of anonymized writing style and a mechanism for adaptive attacks against stylometry techniques. Our framework defines the steps necessary to anonymize documents and implemen...
متن کاملApplying Mutation Testing in XML Schemas
XML language is largely used by Web-based applications to exchange data among different components. XML documents, in most cases, follow a grammar or schema that describes which elements and data types are expected by the application. These schemas are “translated” from specifications written in natural language, and consequently, in this process some mistakes are usually made. Because of this,...
متن کاملTracking Viral Videos on YouTube: Tool Set Construction
This paper documents the implementation of a tool set calculates a set of near matches of an input set of images using the colour correlogram as a feature extractor. This tool set is a subset of tools that can be used to extract common short segments of video, or visual memes, from a set of videos. The software described in this paper is able to extract features and match similar images into se...
متن کاملImproving Interactive Information Retrieval Effectiveness with 3-D Graphics
Recall-oriented information retrieval requires locating as many documents as possible that are relevant to a query. Traditional information retrieval systems present results only in a ranked list. Inspired by the cluster hypothesis, we present a novel 3-D visualization tool which aids recalloriented retrieval. The visualization portrays clustered documents and concepts using a modified spring e...
